End of Semester

I am officially finished with the Fall 2011 semester at CSN! I learned so many useful things this semester. I took Advanced Web Development, Lighting, Intro to Graphics and Photography Business Practices.

Next semester I was hoping to take Portrait, but it seems to be full for now. So, I'm taking Large Format and Commercial Photography along with a couple other Web classes.  I'll be watching for the Portrait class to open as I would rather take that class instead of the Large Format class.

Here is a portrait of my two nieces that I used as part of my Lighting assignments. I shot this the late afternoon of our Thanksgiving feast.

I plan to make a large print, then matte and frame it and send it out as a gift to my sister and mother-in-law for christmas.

Now to celebrate my vacation by playing some Star Wars.

Finals!

I decided to check my blog and new website out while I'm sitting in class just to see how it looks from a different computer other then my own. Everything looks good so far.

Check it out here

You can see some of the photos I submitted for my Lighting class's portfolio. When I get home I'll add more.

5 more minutes and I get to take my next final exam and then I have 2 down and 2 more to take care of! Wooh!

A New Day, A New Blog

It was suggested that what people don't like on a photographer's website is a lack of a blog. So here I am. I'm not going to say I'm new to this blog thing because, if you do enough stalking, you can find my other blogs hidden on the internet. It's the whole thing about keeping up with it that I'm a little shaky on. I did find blogging therapeutic at the time, so maybe starting a new blog for a new adventure will be good for me.

This blog will basically be about my photography. Hopefully, it will enlighten anyone that should happen upon it.

Tomorrow is the beginning of the last week of the fall semester. I have a couple exams to take in about 6 hours, so this should be really short. Here is a shot of the last session of photos I took. All I have to say is, she was not very happy.
